"Steve Harvey" Earns Best Rating To-Date, With Episode Airing Monday, January 18, 2016, "Miss Universe: The Truth Part I"

January 19, 2016 - Monday’s episode of the Emmy Award-winning “Steve Harvey” (01/18/16) brought in the highest Metered Market HH rating in the talk show’s four-year history, notching a 2.6 and surpassing the previous high of 2.2, set during last season’s annual birthday episode (01/16/15), full of sentimental surprises for host Steve Harvey’s birthday.

In addition to its highest Metered Market HH rating ever, Monday’s episode of “Steve Harvey” ranked #1 in several markets including NY (WNBC/3.4), Chicago (WMAQ/2.8), Dallas (KXAS/3.0), Atlanta (WAGA/4.2) and Houston (KRIV/3.7), among others, and notched all-time high ratings in numerous markets including New York and Houston.

On Monday’s episode, titled “Miss Universe: The Truth, Part I,” Harvey finally broke his silence to address his stint as host of the Miss Universe pageant where he mistakenly announced the wrong woman as the winner on live television. In this specialty episode, Steve sat down with Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines, for an honest and unfiltered one-on-one conversation about the incident.

“Miss Universe: The Truth, Part II” will air on Tuesday, January 19 and will feature the long awaited first conversation between Steve Harvey and Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, the woman he incorrectly named as the winner of the pageant.
